Westland Dental Veneers: When to Have Your Veneers Attached
If you are among those who drink too much coffee, tea or carbonated drinks, be careful. These will make your teeth discolored and harm the protective enamel coating. Harm could also be done from inadequate enamel that forms only a thin shield over your teeth. Thin enamel may be a condition transmitted through genes.
Otherwise, you may have taken prescription medicine that cause the enamel around your teeth to thin unnaturally. Then you have people who grind their teeth while asleep. Sometimes while awake as well. This will also make you lose your teeth's protective coating. The gnashing and grinding also changes the outlines of your teeth. They may become uneven, which makes your bite less effective.
A dentist could help you with enamel problems. At the same time, it shouldn't force you to have a dental veneer for your teeth as the first thing you do.
There are other ways to treat it. If you visit my clinic in Westland, see what I can do for you. You may only go away with simple teeth cleaning. You could also go for teeth whitening. This is a fantastic procedure and yet so easy. People don't have a clue about the traits of a simple dab of tooth whitening solution.
But that is not to say veneers are out of the question. If I see that your enamel shield is in poor condition, we could resort to a more extensive procedure, which is to do dental veneers. Dental veneers cover the front part of the damaged tooth. The treatment starts by getting your teeth ready for the veneers. This is done initially. You won't have veneers on your first trip. That done, it is left to the lab technicians to make dental veneers that are suitable for you. You will need to come back to our office once the veneers are finished so that you can have them fitted on.
Westland veneers are quite flexible. They come in several colors. These veneers also keep their colors and will keep your teeth looking nice for a long time. Veneers are great solutions. Not only do they bring the enamel back but they can fix the gaps between your teeth. Certainly, having dental veneers is beneficial health-wise. For most people, though, their best quality is their ability to sparkle in the same way that your natural teeth can. Even if you are wearing brand new veneers you won't really give yourself away in the dark.
