The Westland Orthodontist Includes Invisalign
If your teeth are warped or crooked you will probably see an orthodontist at some point. The Westland orthodontist will make Invisalign invisible braces available to you as part of your treatment. I mean it: invisible. Nobody will even know you've got them on.
The fact that the Westland orthodontist can give you Invisalign puts you in a better situation than if you had traditional braces. Over and above the excellent quality of being invisible, the Invisalign invisible braces aren't permanent, and they come off when you want them to so you don't get food stuck in them when you eat. Also, Invisalign braces will work on all of your teeth or just a few. That means that if only one or two teeth in your mouth need assistance, Invisalign can be applied just to those teeth. Following that, any other procedures that the dentist recommends can be executed.
These invisible braces are also very handy when you've lost a tooth and the space has not been filled with a crown. If left empty, a gap like that can cause your other teeth to change position. That's not good, because then when you want to have a crown put in, the remaining teeth will have moved about so radically that an implant, a requirement for a crown installation, won't fit. If that comes to pass, a Westland orthodontist will gladly resort to Invisalign braces to make your teeth straight so they can accept a crown.
You can benefit from this because the Westland orthodontist custom-builds the equipment you need to fit inside your mouth. The Westland orthodontist will analyze what you need in order to craft a strategy and put in for the exact number of aligners required to fix your teeth. There are only 2 hours each day when you don't wear your aligners and the aligners get worn out in about two weeks. Then a different aligner is put in its place. It is easy to use up to 15 aligners. Some patients have needed up to 30.
The common timeframe for seeing the dentist is roughly once every two to six weeks. While you're there, the Westland orthodontist will scrape away a minute portion of outer tooth from the affected area. After all is said and done, it takes approximately a year to do the Invisalign process. That's half the time of conventional braces.
